Lighting the dark

I had to wait until late tonight to capture the scene I saw on the deck last night, after it was dark.  My eye had been caught by the glow from a solar garden light that  lit up a portion of the large pot of  petunias  sitting on the deck and making it look quite magical.

I couldn't get the same glow tonight -  so hard to repeat things,  but  remembered  Biker Bear's  instruction from sometime ago to use a 'trusty little torch, '  and gave it a wee boost. It will have to do.

This will be my experimental photography entry and also my entry for Flower Friday.
