Day 019/18. Anthony Gormley - Sound II

This mysterious life-size statue of a man contemplating the water held in his cupped hands is the work of the celebrated British sculptor Antony Gormley. You can find Sound II, fashioned from lead out of a plaster cast of the artist’s own body, in Winchester Cathedral crypt, which floods during rainy months.
A brief visit into Winchester today. I had heard that the crypt was flooded and the statue looks great with the reflections in the water.
I had the crypt all to myself to take this shot.....a little spooky with the heavy door closed behind me.
