Jazz Hands

Alfie is playing a lot of jazz since he did an all day workshop with professional musicians from Aldeburgh on Tuesday. The children actually wrote and performed a 7 minute long piece of music. I know I'm biased but I thought it was amazing (especially the guitar solo in the middle).

In other news, assembly went well. The children were a bit quiet and seem to forget all my instructions about using their big voices, but we got a lot of nice feedback from staff and parents. 
I'm ready for the weekend.
