His Excellency Marks The Spot

I had to go and collect a certified letter from the post office today.   It looked official referring to the city authority and one always wonders what's up!    It turned out to be very good news confirming what we have been fighting to establish for several years, namely, that our wee street is private which opens the door to us being able to close it with gates! The work to get this letter from His Excellence the Secretary General of the Barcelona City Council has been that of my acting as a private detective working a foreign system that no other precious president of our street has ever been able to navigate . . . and without paying lawyers to help!   So, a wee celebration tonight for us that could lead to our first private street party before the year is out!
