Back Down To Earth . . .

. . . literally! So, a day after leaving Rio we find ourselves at the top of our wee street in Barcelona. I have been managing these works from afar during the last two weeks. The local authority are making us move the start of our passageway from the line of the balastrade to the line of the new building on the left . . . where the new kerb stones end. I had to fight hard during a few days last week to ensure that the distance between the kerbs respected our existing road width. After threat of court action, we got agreement.

You can just see our Citroen 2CV in the distance. All the other cars, in daily use, had to vacate the street for the month duration of the works when access is impossible.
