Rotary Festival of Youth Music

At lunchtime we attended the Rotary Festival of Youth Music at Heriot-Watt, where 16 young students competed for a place in the Young Musician of the Year Area Final, which takes place on 14th February.

An exceptionally high standard made the task of adjudicator Dr Steve King difficult but we agreed with his choice of Vocalist winner Jamie Lewis and Instrumentalist winner Alex Braggins. Once again the awards were presented by Betty Clark.
