Scaredy Cate

A nice lie in and the news that the pressie I sent my friend for her birthday arrived safe and sound made for a good morning. Sweet.

D and I headed off for a crafty shop - walking to Stalybridge via the canal.
I have been making an effort to do things that make me a bit antsy - walking through Scout Tunnel was definitely one of them!

Scout tunnel is dark and drippy and 616 ft long and is carved out of solid rock.
For claustrophobic panicky me it was a bit hairy and I nearly turned back...but by God I did it!

Reward was a butterscotch Krispy Kreme.
