Yellow against the white

It’s snowing here now - and it’s sticking. I must be getting old. I arrived back after a quick trip to Lidl and commented about the snowfall to my young neighbour. His reaction - “That’s not so bad. We can go sledging”.

When did I turn into a miserable old stick-in-the-mud ? It happened when I wasn’t looking !

My blip is of a “pocketbook plant” as it’s described on my receipt. Another Lidl bargain, to cheer us as the snow or sleet continue.

Thank you so much for your gentle support and kindness yesterday. Our dark clouds concern the untimely and cruel passing of my brave sister-in-law on Wednesday, after a battle with cancer. She will be so much missed.
