Saturday: Burns Night

We had a lovely morning at our local bookshop, spending our Christmas vouchers (thanks again, V and E!).

This evening I was, like last year, invited to the Royal Caledonian Society's Burns Night Dinner. Hard to believe it's a year since the last one. Anyway, K. was a trooper and came with me this year. I think I got brownie points for going a second time - both this year and last I was told many times that my predecessor only went once in his first year and then never again.......
