Grace notes

Grace note. 'an extra note added as an embellishment and not essential to the harmony or melody.' Walking across a bridge in Paris, on way to a museum and I noticed a young couple being photographed for a wedding album. It was a grace note to my journey. Yet it allowed me a window into another life. It caused me to reflect on 40 years of marriage and those early days.... Grace notes are serendipitous events which interrupt your day but they can, indeed often do, add value. The other photo shows another type of grace note, beside the books in the hotel lobby. A random clown.....
