Frosted Hogweed

A short walk along the Teviot opposite Chesters this morning. It was hard going, a thick layer of fresh snow over the old, rutted ice. The sky was very grey, and more snow began to fall  just as we got home.  

This evening, it has started to rain and the white stuff is disappearing fast.  Maybe this will be my last snow blip. Fingers crossed that it doesn't freeze tonight! Naked Wines will be making a third attempt to deliver TM's order tomorrow .....
