Calm before the storm...

Today was a school day! I was involved in some medicine which I have not yet had to deal with. Blood transfusions. It's kind of this thing at vet school which always seemed quite scary and complicated to me. It really isn't. We transfused my favourite canine patient (see previous Blip) and he's doing great. On my way home, feeling as though I had learn't yet another skill, a storm picked up. Very violent and terrible rain, it seemed to come out of no where. This is the palm tree outside my flat and the branches were being blown around wildly - its a seriously big tree!!
