A case for MI5?

I have no idea where I was going but as can be seen from a few days earlier, I had picked up £50 of presumably traveller's cheques at my Norwich bank.

There is no return stamp in the passport.

Was I deported and then smuggled myself back in?

A mystery I hope to solve in due course.
