Glenorchy

Today was meant to be the hottest day of the summer so we thought, after quite a lot of exercise over the last few days, we would head over the Crown range past Queenstown and on up Lake Wakatipu to Glenorchy. This is a splendid drive, very scenic but didn't really like any of the photos l took.
The photo today is taken at Glenorchy looking up towards the little pier.
My extra shows a very familiar sight around NZ. Chinese people appear to have 2 wedding ceremonies, one formal wedding at home and another abroad, all dressed up again, for the wedding photos.. Quite often the bride will wear a red dress (an auspicious colour) for the wedding photos. The scene was slightly spoiled by the blue trainers she wearing! They both seemed completely oblivious to the lads jumping off the pier into the cool lake waters.
