Today's the day ......................... to look out to sea

A nice day here today, in between the showers, so Mum and I took a drive out to gladderscountry.

It was very pleasant sitting at the end of the pier at Arnside looking across the bay to Grange-over-Sands and beyond. It looked like proper sea too because the tide was fully in - and I imagine the water level to be just about as high as it gets.

Mum goes back to Edinburgh tomorrow - and we'll miss her. We've got quite used to having her around ......................
