What a difference a day makes .....

No snow, no wind, no rain ..... just a great expanse of blue sky and enough sunshine to make gloves unnecessary.

Plenty of people out and about enjoying the fine weather. It seems ages since I had a walk round the loch and today the conditions were ideal for a spot of waterfowl watching.  Plenty of gulls, the swan family still together, increasing numbers of Greylag geese but not a duck to be seen. Perhaps they didn't like the snow and sought shelter somewhere.

The extra shot is not particularly good but I don't often manage to get a photo of a Greylag goose in flight .... it was on route to the nearby field to join his mates who were grazing alongside the sheep.
