Can We Build It??? Yes We Can

These are two of the nicest builders I have ever met.

These are the chaps responsible for putting the windows in the new office space which has been created in the roof space of the warehouse.

I popped in to see how it was going just after I took the picture of the door earlier this week, and both of them came over and introduced themselves (although since I had just been at the loo, and had wet hands, and they were covered in stour, the resulting mess on our hands left a lot to be desired).

They took time to explain to me what they were doing and why my idea of a "big sledgehammer and whack it",wasn't such a good idea.

I also asked them if they could build a porch on my front door and while they said they could, they said the joiners we have working for us, could probably do it a lot cheaper.

The windows are lovely, and I can see all the way to Arran and the Lady Isle,  Once I've found a tree trimmer, I'll all set for an amazing array of photos.   The one I have in mind is  a montage of Planes, trains, Automobiles and Ships.  - I will have i my view, the Runway, the By-Pass, The Railway Line and the Sea. Technically, it should be possible.  it may mean that I have to sit on Mo's desk for quite some time.

In other news; we have a rat in the Warehouse.  Obviously attracted by the new warmth created by lower roof.   I will not venture anywhere near my archive boxes without my trusty brush, which I batter noisily off every surface before I touch anything.

Rat Woman says, "give it a name it'll be less scary".  Says the woman who is gonna kill it.
