King John.....

A statue of King John in Kings Lynn where we took a quick tour this afternoon on the way to our B&B in Hillington, Norfolk. We'll do a more thorough heritage tour tomorrow before visiting Sandringham. My extra gives more information about this less than popular monarch.

We had a good journey here, the weather fluctuating between hazy sunshine and very threatening skies.

This evening we were very grateful for the torch provided by our hosts as we walked in otherwise pitch darkness to The Ffolkes Arms for our evening meal. We passed others carrying torches too. Seems quite the norm and brought back memories of power cut days.

Nice to return here....where We 4 stayed four years ago. To be thoroughly recommended!
