Trimming Tootsies.....

A dry day spent working with cattle.
First job once everything was fed was to go next door to help wee brother bring in his spring calving cows so we could give them their BVD vaccine and a dose to kill any liver fluke. Was just busy walking them back to the field when Roy,the foot trimmer, phoned to say he was on his way(3 hrs quicker than expected ! ).
So it was a quick 3 quad rodeo to get the 2 bulls in from their field before he got here. They weren't too much bother to work on and the hydraulic tipping crate makes a real difference compared to having to haul each foot up individually when the vet does them.
The extra shows a close up of the grinder at work. You wouldn't want to get your fingers in the way though !
