Yummy

We had a lovely sociable day. Sheila and Mike came for lunch and in the evening we went to #3 daughter’s to play with Ella and Nathaniel. Both wanted a Grandad to read the bedtime story but Ella agreed I could do it this time if we swapped next time.

After they were in bed #2 daughter arrived and we shared bottle of champagne in honour of her forthcoming birthday. How did I ever get to have a daughter who is going to be 43? It seems no time since I was that age.

The four of us went to a Jesmond Dene House as there was a January deal on. It was very tasty but the food was not as special as it used to be. Birthday girl was disappointed they no longer do seaweed butter. The pudding was very nice though!
