Osteria at Ascension

We have been coming to this area for almost 40 years. In hat time a thriving wine industry has grown up. One of the local vineyards is Ascension Wines, which produces some nice enough wines. In recent years they have also been developing the Osteria as a quality restaurant. This evening S' brother, along with his wife and daughter, accompanied us (with our daughter J) for a pleasant meal. 

They were surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, especially on a hoiday weekend. I suspect that the hot sunny day encouraged many to stay on the beach or on the deck, and have fast food. We all had a very good time, and for my blip, I took a photo of the entry to the main winery building, which is now largely occupied by Osteria.
