Birds and weather

The driving drizzle on the moors this morning didn't put us off.  I'd been out on my bike for a short loop and it was Little Dog's turn for a longer walk than she got yesterday.  I wasn't actually intending to head up high but we ended up on the edge of the moors just because it was lovely to be out.

I'd already sat in my study for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and was pleased to clock up a whole range of birds including three robins in our postage stamp garden at the same time - funny watching them puffing out their red chests at each other.

Not a bad day for a minging one!
