Manfred Mann’s Earth Band were absolutely brilliant last night. We were blinded by the light, Davy was on the road again, and we’ll not see nothing like the Mghty Quinn.
I’d always thought that Manfred Mann was a rather remote and very silent, serious person, but no ... he sang, chatted to the audience, told a joke - and explained that he is the complete opposite to his reputation but never used to speak or smile in public as he had incredibly bad teeth! And he plays the keyboard like you wouldn’t believe!
