Southborough Common

Mr P in a hard hat today. More holly and laurel clearance on Southborough Common.  He's dragging the wood down a gully made years ago when horses and carts took stone from the quarry. We are clearing the gully all the way up to the quarry and looking for signs of ruins. It was cold and miserable. The attraction of a bonfire on the Common was stronger than going orienteering or a walk. Several hours hard work. Now I can sit with my feet up in front of a fire and the TV.
