Mosaics

We prepped for our mosaic-making class by visiting the Museo Massimo and Santa Maria Maggiore, where incredible examples abound. The class, at Studio Cassio in the Monti neighborhood, was both educational and fun, and Sarah, our instructor, sent us on our way with a page full of recommendations for other things we should see and do on our last two days.

We left there and found high ground to watch more starlings . . . murmurating? It's the best sky show ever, especially when it's in the sky over Rome.
