Biking in Rome
We covered a lot of ground today, from the Protestant Cemetery and Museo Montemarte on the far side of our place, to St. Peter's Basilica via the Tiber bike path, and then on to the vast expanse of the Villa Borghese. Bikes helped. Well, they helped me, anyway. Paul had a bit of a harder time because his legs are so long and the seat is only so high, but he managed. And guess what? Roman drivers are very bike friendly.
In the afternoon we rode/walked by the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain before getting to our new favorite murmuration location next to Il Campidoglio. The starlings did not disappoint!
