Knysna and Buffalo Bay

Mrs BB brother has lived in South Africa for 38 years and her parents visited every other year for several months over about 25 years; plus her dad was stationed there in the RAF during the war. Their favourite place was Knysna and today we finally got to visit. It's every bit as beautiful as they told us. We visited Knysna Heads and the blip extra shows the view.

Afterwards we had a drive to nearby Buffalo Bay and were so impressed with it that we will probably return tomorrow to do a short walk. The blipfoto shows one of the beaches. As I was talking a photo of the lovely driftwood, a seagull flew into the composition to give it balance.

After a beautiful meal at our hotel, so reasonably priced too, I watched the last third of Newport County v Spurs football match. Newport, a local team to us back home, drew 1-1 against a top Premier team to earn a replay. A stunning result. Hopefully Cardiff City FC will do as well or better tomorrow as they face one of the best teams in the World - Manchster City!
