I spent the day with a new friend.

Miguel is friends with my friend that died, and her partner.

I contacted him after she died, and we’ve been in contact since. Today he flew up from London so he could travel with us to her funeral. We spent the day talking and remembering.
In the evening Iain joined us and we went out for some more drinks and dinner.
As it was Burns Night, they finished off the evening with some whiskies.
