Vinnie's Pizzaria

55 years in business in Concord, New Hampshire, this pizzaria (yes, that's how Vinnie wanted it spelled) is still held and operated by la familia -- Vinnie's grandson, in fact.

Everything is made right there -- the dough, the secret tomato sauce -- and assembled and cooked on premises in the wonderfully shiny ovens. And boy, does it taste great!

The place looks totally unassuming (still in the original locale) but has a great following: everyone who came in during the time we were there was greeted by their first name -- young and old alike.

I had a lot of fun chatting with Ginger, the lady who was making our pizzas, just leaning over the counter and shooting the breeze, while waiting for our daughter to finish class and join us.
