The Uni campus...

...was that little bit greener today gently heralding a change in season? A wee blanket of hardy snowdrops was developing too.

Wee change to the routine today. Golf lesson and coffee with the wee fella. Then he, MrR and me jumped on a train to Glasgow as he wanted to buy a comic. He had birthday money to spend.

That said though even when presented with all the glittery animation and comic things in Forbidden Planet he bought two comics. Part one and part two of a Teen Titans story...just over £6.

For some time he’s been wanting to go to a “sushi restaurant”...it was on his summer bucket list last year and we didn’t get to it. So I had teed MrR up for this but not him.

When we came out of Forbidden Planet he was all set just to get back on the train...indeed even when I said let’s go and get some sushi in a restaurant he was still all set to get back on the train...go figure.

That said he enjoyed his sushi...he always does but it’s usually M&S packs to go:-). Nippon Kitchen was far the better dining experience. MrR and I enjoyed our sushi too. Nice restaurant.

I wonder if his initial reluctance was because that motley crew of teenager siblings were not with us. I had told him of another restaurant in Glasgow where the chef’s come to your table and cook your meal. He did say this evening that maybe we could all go there...so maybe that was his initial thought.
