Robin in the park

There was torrential rain this morning but it had dried up well by the time I went to yoga. As I was returning to my car through the park I saw this robin that posed nicely for me.

I did the Big Garden Birdwatch on Saturday and usually the birds all vanish for the weekend. It was different on Saturday as I had twelve different species - not bad for a very small garden. At one point there was a male blackcap and a female bullfinch feeding together below the feeders and then a nuthatch arrived on the tree and was feeding on the seeds. It was great to see them all.
