Ciao ciao

We spent our last day in Rome sort of like the first: roaming around narrow streets, popping into churches, and later, finding a spot to watch the murmuration. This time we were here, at the Orange Garden. The big difference between today and Thursday: we knew where to eat.

We began the day at the market with beef and potato paninis (!), coffee, a few cookies, then a fried artichoke (!!). Dinner was a course of pasta, a main of zucchini and meatballs (Paul had lamb and potatoes), vino, then a plate of cookies (!!!). Nothing but water tomorrow, and then we can start in on Indian Thali.
