Bike at the Barrier

A beautiful morning demanded a ride down to the Thames Barrier. I couldn't resist stopping for this sunny shot. Shame that I didnt have my proper camera with me, but that would have annoyed one of my cycling buddies who objects to me stopping to take pix.

Stopped on the way back in the shadow of Canary Wharf at a brilliant café which does a bacon and egg sandwich with a mug of tea for £4.50. Not bad, eh? Especially as it is right next door to all the glitzy restaurants favoured by the bankers and finance workers.
