More car stress. I took this as I walked an unknown (to me) bit of Kendal to work. It's been interesting to have a little delve into the route of this beck which starts up at Kendal Parks and seems to have a fascinating industrial history. I'd put my money on this being a spot that may have gone back to Roman times given the site is so close to the old Roman fort (Alavana) at Watercrook - a big loop in the river Kent just downstream.
