Natures Valley

At 10am, Mrs BB and I were in a cafe in Plettenberg Bay (South Africa) having a blipmeet with PaulaJ and her husband, Gordon. All of us thousands of miles from our UK homes. Before we knew it almost two hours had gone! It was great meeting them both and if they're ever in South Wales (UK) we'll meet up again. (see extra of me and Paula)

After a visit to "Old Nick", a market and small shopping village on the outskirts of Plettenberg, we drove to Natures Valley. in the Garden Route National Park. It's situated in the De Vasselot area on the banks of the Groot River, about 18 miles from the town of Plettenberg Bay (Tsitsikamma Section). The area is a bird watchers' and hikers' paradise. It's a lagoon with a beach separating it from the sea.


I loved the dead tree sticking out of the sand and took a few frames until I got my composition as I wanted.
