The Five Billion Meal

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I really have to switch my working head back on. I am only in today and tomorrow this week which meant I was demob happy before I even walked in the door this morning.

I displayed some particularly unpopular parenting later by insisting that Youngest Mini Princess showered because she had been to water polo (yep, my children are properly middle class). This trauma was compounded by my decision to make a paneer curry for dinner. ‘Ugh, I don’t like curry. You always put in 5 billion chillies and 5 billion peas. Have you done that this time?’

I suggested that she should count them to check. I was already counting to 10.
