We checked out early - I was worried we’d somehow broken the boiler because there was no hot water all morning but it turns out there was a gas leak further down the road so they’d turned it off.
We caught the train to Truro for the day - since the weather was so gross we figured there’d be more places to hide inside.
First coffee of the day was accompanied by sea paintings and banana bread; the barista accidentally put cinnamon on my cappuccino instead of chocolate and only realised when he’d brought it to the table but it was delicious so fine with me! Lunch was here, our second choice of cafe when the first choice had no tables - but it was definitely fortuitous because we had some increddddible toasties. Third coffee was in the Waterstones cafe and was made to last as long as possible so we could charge things and G could do a bit of work.
In between coffees we looked in lots of shops (mostly charity shops) and toured the cathedral.
Back home in Bristol by 10pm. Great mini holiday.
