Reflections
Since the SNP are in town at the moment I decided to head into Perth to see if anything was happening. Spotted this on the way in. The river Tay was very calm and I liked the reflections, so decided that would be my blip for today.
Still carried on afterwards and had a 'nosey' at the circus though. All the TV news crews were round the back of the concert hall, the "political correspondents" ducking into their little broadcast vans or campervans (BBC Radio Scotland). Looks like Saturday may be the day to lurk around and grab some shots.
Mrs P's neck and back is still sore with whiplash and she's having to take the day of work tomorrow because of the pain to go and see the doctor. I'm strongly thinking about phoning one of those ambulance chaser injury claims companies that are always advertising on trashy tv channels to claim against the other driver as she's not been able to do a lot of things this week through no fault of her own. Sh'es been in touch with his Insurance company and they confirmed he hasn't made a claim. Well, we certainly will be (against his insurance, not ours!).
Good news at work today on the photography front, they want me to take pictures of the whole IT Leadership team next wednesday for some corporate presentations they have to do. More than happy to get paid my normal day rate playing with the camera rather than my normal consultancy role :)
Of course I only found out after I'd lent one of the guys in the team my 50mm lens for his holiday up north as "I rarely use it". Such is life, they seemed happy enough with the shots I took the last time with the F4 24-105L lens thats my normal lens now.
I'll need to spend plenty of time over the weekend practicing portrait shots with PP, using the flash etc, but she's already told me that i'm not allowed to post them on blip :(
