An evening for Amnesty International

At E´s school they had an event tonight to earn money for Amnesty. Every year in Norway the National TV company picks a charity and has a weekend long fundraiser for it....and the entire country comes together to make money for the cause. This year it is all going towards Amnesty´s work to stop discrimination against homo, bi and transsexuals.

At the school there were cakes to be bought, we could buy crafts that the kids had made and the kids performed. I think they made a lot of money tonight! E is sitting here doing his part....he and his friend were telling jokes for a nickel - mostly good ole Swedish jokes :-)

The kids worked hard and were proud that they were helping Amnesty...nice :-) It was fun, lots of good people there....and lots of good cake!
