Pitlochry day out

This started with a walk around Faskally Dam. Well, the day started wiht breakfast and then a drive in the car, but I'm sure you get the meaning ;)

A walk from the bottom of the town centre, across a suspension footbridge (which sways when folks are walking), along the side of the river, a look in the visitor centre at the top end of the hydro generating machinery and then follow the fish ladder up and across the top of the dam itself.

I've got a bit of a love/hate relationship with concrete structures. On anything small (and especially residential things) I absolutely hate everything about them. On big industrial things, and a hydro-generating dam can definitely be added in that category, I think they can be wonderful.
