Day #19 Day at Sea

Backblip due to no internet again - I think I need to speak to the captain about this!!! ;)

Today was a wonderfully relaxing day at sea. It was my husband's birthday, so he could have a long lay in, breakfast on the balcony and we did nothing more than laze around reading and snoozing and playing a little trivia. It was bliss!
I spent some time early in the day watching to see if there was any wildlife about and we saw some very small dolphins, a sea turtle, jumping fish and plenty of boobies. This one kept circling around and flying very close to the ship both at eye level and close to the water. I thought this shot was a bit different as you don't normally get to see the tops of birds when they are flying. 

In the evening we went to our favourite speciality restaurant with some friends we met on previous cruises and had the most fabulous Italian meal. They even brought out a little birthday cake with a candle on it for my hubby! They no longer do the whole "happy birthday" song like some other cruise  lines as they don't want to intrude on somebody else's dinner - he was very grateful for this new policy :)) 

Altogether a lovely day. 

Tomorrow we have a short afternoon at Manzanillo where we have nothing planned so will just get off and have a wander.
