Magic and Mystery

The Eildon Hills have many legends and stories associated with them. 

King Arthur and his knights  lie sleeping within.  

The Queen of Elfland kidnapped Thomas the Rymer here and carried him off to her realm, where he remained for seven years.  

The wizard Michael Scott smote the mountain with his sword, in a moment of boredom, and turned a single peak into three.  

Maybe, maybe not.  

I used my camera on a pre-set called 'Impressionist Art' to take the picture.  Today was very bright, clear and cold - but not quite in the way it appears above ....
