Serendipity

Walking  around Cocksburn reservoir up on Sheriffmuir late this afternoon wondering what I might photograph after  discovering that both batteries in my camera had gone flat, I happened to turn around and saw this landscape.
 
Fortunately my iPhone was in my pocket.
 
Our new garden wooden bench arrived today after it was ordered in November.
Why did it take such a long time? Then we looked at the label.  It had come from Indonesia.
 
Standing at the bus stop in Bridge of Allan this morning I got chatting to a student about the bus timetable.
She asked me when Spring would arrive.
“Er…. maybe April.”
 
Her face fell.
”Where are you from?” I asked wanting to change the subject away from  our Scottish weather.
 
“Papua New Guinea…. I’m studying sports management.”
