Quiche for dinner!

Been a long day, but so lovely in many ways!  

Physio this morning of course...and of course Lindsey put me thro my paces.....lots of rain so ice and rain covered roads and parking lots, not very comfortable for someone with a bum knee!  but i did it....got home and had the usual nap!  

We have a lovely young friend of ours here from Saltspring Island, Nick....he and Mary Jane arrived around 5pm and i had already prepared  the stuff for the quiche......and what ensued was a lovely few hours of chatting with Nick and Maryjane and Terry of course.....he'll be with us for the next 6-7 days and he is such an interesting young man.  

now it's time to veg with netflix and then off to bed.   the finale of Scandal...wow what a series that has been!  off to watch the last episode!

the forecast is for the temps to plummet this evening so of course all that rain and ice will freeze even more...oh joy of joys....an ice rink out there tomorrow!!   thankfully i don't have to go anywhere!
