Lost
I was over at school this morning for a meeting at 8am but, happily, I had the rest of the day in the office. Which is not to imply that I don't enjoy the meetings at school but the longer I'm away from the office - and I'm not there that much at the moment - the more the little things pile up that I need to do and I also begin to feel a bit disconnected.
Quite apart from the above, one of the things I like about having a day in the office is walking to Asda for my lunch. It's a perfect distance; just under ten minutes walk, each way. It gives me a breath of fresh air, a bit of thinking time, and, of course, steps.
On the way back to the office, I noticed this little fella on top of one of those boxes that might be something to do with telephones. I felt also a little twinge of sadness for whoever had dropped in but also a little surge of civic pride in whoever had seen it on the floor and followed the unwritten rule of picking it up and putting it somewhere it might be seen.
