Cusco

We made it to Cusco.  We got there about 9.30 in the morning.  Fortunately the hotel had our rooms ready reasonably soon.  We were met by a representative from the travel agent.  He was incredibly pedantic and careful to explain our itinerary over the next few days.  Really all we were thinking about was having a hot shower and going to bed.   After a sleep and then lunch, it was out to explore.  The wall to the left is Incan remains (higher status) and possibly Incan remains on the wall to the right.  The wall to the left also had some markings on the stones too.  The man is no doubt a guide explaining the significance to the girls.  The woman is in traditional dress and is selling souvenirs.  A lot of these women have sheep or llamas colourfully dressed and charge to have photos taken.  It's a living!  The view behind is typical of Cusco with narrow roads leading up the hills.
