The Bold North

This is rare for me to post two pics in consecutive days....but I have to.

Our city of Minneapolis, Minnesota is hosting the the Super Bowl tonight and I couldn't be prouder. The entire area has pulled out the red carpet for all visitors, players, media and townies (oh, and Justin Timberlake too). The town is completely lit up with Super Bowl colors (see pic). The Super Bowl spirit is everywhere in spite of the arctic temperatures. 6 degrees Fahrenheit (that's -14 C for you all across the pond)...but our hearts are warm. We are good people here :)

Looking forward to watching the game ...and eating a lot. Wish my team, the Vikings, were representing though. Skol!
