THE GIANT IN THE WOODS

All that power flowing through the woods, and that's just the sap rising in the trees, never mind what's going through the cables.

I'd gone to a nearby park where I'd heard there were lots of interesting birds to be seen on the feeders next to the car park, but there were several noisy men with great big cameras loudly comparing lenses and discussing other twitchery, and scaring all the birds back into the trees, so I decided to go back another day, and went for a quick walk instead until that black cloud decided to empty itself.
