High Rise Light Catchers

A quick beating of the bounds late this afternoon after the rain. I photographed the long-tailed-tit troupe on the blackthorn hedge. Love the turgid buds and the thorns in my extra which just shows the bird's pink eyebrow.

My shot above was taken at 17:09, sunset was at 16:54. It was dull on the bank of our neighbour's lake but there was still some golden hour light illuminating the town centre more than two and a half miles away.
