Week 28

I went a little literal with the bump pic this week. Couldn't resist, though unfortunately it was taken with my iPhone.

Excitingly we're now only 9 weeks away from being classed as full term! 11 weeks and 6 days to go to 40 weeks and I'm still hoping he'll be a late January baby, so want to add at least another 10 days to that.

He's now the size of a small cabbage at 17inches and nearly 2.5lbs. The midwife measured me at a perfect 28 weeks, so hoping he's still on the normal/small size. She also told me he was lying head down, with back and bum pushing the left side of my stomach and his knee and foot pushing the right.

I knew he was head down as my pelvis seems to be his favourite spot- causing me to waddle a little earlier than expected!

When I got up from taking this picture acid reflux decided to kick in again, but otherwise, we're doing fine. The itching is ever-present but now more of an annoyance.

Instead I'm concentrating on counting down the days until Saturday when we have the 4D scan and I get to glimpse Bump's face for the first time. Can't wait!
